I did not have a choice in the matter, and I was not offered an expander for a later implant at surgery due to radiation afterward. The only choice I have is fat grafting, and I don’t want it. I had my surgery at 26, I’m 32 now, and I don’t wear my prosthetic anymore. It’s uncomfortable.
