In 2014 at 50 years old, I was diagnosed with cancer of the left breast. It had spread to my lymph nodes. I had a left sided single mastectomy and removal of my lymph nodes. I had chemotherapy and radiation. After awhile of being one breasted, I decided to go for a DIEP flap reconstruction.

Later I decided on the tattoo.

I’m happy and all is good. I am now a lady of leisure in Birmingham, United Kingdom.
